Emas National Park is located in the Cerrado and is known for its bioluminescence. It is a world Heritage Site and considered one of the oldest and most diverse tropical ecosystems. We will spend 3 days looking for amazing insects here; we will also have a chance to see numerous birds, deer, tapir, and the elusive Maned Wolf.
The second half of the trip we will spend in the Pantanal, the world’s largest tropical wetland. The Pantanal is a flooded grassland with incredible diversity, including the Apple snail that has both a gill and a lung.
